What is Child Care Resource and Referral?

Child Care Link is a child care resource and referral (CCR&R) program that provides various types of assistance, to parents needing child care, while they are working, seeking work, or attending school or training programs. In addition, we offer training and support to child care providers and the community to assist in building quality care programs.

What is Child Care Link's Mission?

“Linking the community to safe, healthy, caring environments for all children.”

This project is funded (in part) under a contract with the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services. The statements herein do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the Department.

Our Services to Families include:

	Referrals to Registered and Licensed Child Care Facilities
	Managing the Best Beginnings Child Care Scholarship Program
	Parent Education, Information, & Referrals to other programs
	Processing of Legally Unregistered Provider Applications

Our Services to Providers include:

	New Provider Orientation
	New Provider and Program Recruitment
	Resource Lending Library (see below for list of materials)
	Child Care Provider Training & Skill Development
	Technical Assistance
	Quarterly Newsletter

Our Services to the Community include:

	Fostering Work & Family Partnerships in Care
	Community Data Collection & Profiles
	Early Childhood Advocacy and Education

Many options are available for volunteer positions through our Child Care Resource and Referral Program. Specific areas of need are:

	Community Education around early care and education issues
	Marketing
	Parent Education
	Special Event Planning
	Fundraising
	Working with Families & Child Care Providers
	Program assistance in preparing materials, filing, office tasks
