McLaughlin Transitional Housing ProgramThe purpose of the McLaughlin program is to provide affordable housing on a transitional basis for low-income families needing assistance while they complete job training and becoming significantly established in employment which will allow them to afford local market rate rents. Acceptance into the transitional program involves these steps:
Four Plex 
HRDC Owns an Apartment Complex at 1510 2nd St. There are four 2 bedroom units. These units are available to low income clients.
HRDC owns this Project Based Rental Assisted Unit at 1633 2nd St. There are eight units in a two story building, seven of which are subsidized. These units are 2 bedroom and are available to low income clients.
Austin House
This house at 122 3rd Ave. West is owned by HRDC. It was formerly a HUD home that was purchased and renovated by HRDC. It is near Pizza Hut and is a single family home. It consists of 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms, including finished basement rooms.
